We received an urgent call on our helpline about a puppy’s desperate cries from within a closed sewage gutter. When our rescuers arrived, they had to lift a heavy cement slab to uncover the scene. There, lying in the cold water, was a puppy, so weak that his nose kept dipping into the water as he struggled to breathe. It was a heartbreaking sight.
Despite his fragile state, we managed to scoop him out, but soon realized he was facing serious neurological issues. What followed was a long and challenging journey of recovery and rehabilitation. This little fighter showed incredible determination, and with time, he’s now working towards one goal—playing again.
