Meet Ruth. For a long time, she was ignored, mistreated, and avoided by everyone because of a large tumor on her face. Every time she turned to someone for help, they either stoned her or turned away. Even when we tried to offer her food, she kept her distance, fearful that we would harm her.
But we didn’t give up. We brought Ruth to the shelter, where the medical team ran tests to ensure she was fit for surgery. The surgery was challenging, but we were determined. After several difficult hours, it was a success.
Today, Ruth is a different dog. She walks, plays, and shows her newfound strength.
